What is the deal?? Somethings got to give because every time I am bold enough to make a statement about Curry's fabulous sleep patterns, she immediately resorts back to her newborn stage. Seriously, as soon as I posted my last blog about her 100% sleeping at least a solid six or seven hours each night, it wasn't even a day (or night I should say) later that she was getting back up EVERY TWO HOURS! Yes, that's right...TWO HOURS! HELP! I mean it honestly wasn't this bad even when she WAS a newborn baby.
The problem is Curry has decided she only wants to eat about two to three ounces every feeding, which resorts to her being hungry a lot more. I'm telling you I can't even force-feed the milk down her. So....we've started exhausting every possible scenario to make her sleep better. I've tried rice cereal in her night bottle, which didn't work. I've tried to switch her to formula at night, but again, she's waking right back up after two hours of snoozing. I've even made sure to not let her sleep a lot during the day (especially past 5:00) still no results! It's getting so bad that I'm breaking back down and putting her in bed with me just to get a couple of more minutes of sleep. Hey, I'm desperate here!
Moral of the story is I'm just at a loss. Now, every parent of an infant remotely close to Curry's age just brags and boasts about how great their child is sleeping now. Almost as if they are trying to rub it in my face. Well, I guess that's what I get from all of that bragging I started off with...sure did come to bite me in the butt. Oh well...I'm going to try and stay positive and just keep my fingers crossed that now that I've put it out on the blog, maybe, just maybe, it will have the opposite effect and she'll start sleeping again. I mean a girl can wish right??!!

do you swaddle? Loads of folks swear that swaddling helps the little one sleep longer so that they can get some shut eye. I know that we have a couple of parents that request that their child gets swaddled when sleeping so that they get their naps during the day at school.
Doesn't sound like she's going through a growth spurt but she just may be. Usually they eat more often and more at each feeding. Cash has started doing the same thing. We've tried all the things you have and nothing is working. So...he ends up sleeping in our bed the majority of the time.
