Move over measly little bassinet, the nursery crib is in town! She did it! Curry spent the whole night in the nursery last night AND she slept for six hours straight before she even made a peep via video monitor. I was so proud of her because it didn't even scare her when she woke up for a feeding because I just put her right back down in the crib and she conked back out in two seconds! WOO HOO, sweet success!
Me, on the other hand, didn't do so hot. First of all, I had a HUGE scare in the middle of the night which in turn freaked Adam out when I woke him screaming, "Where's Curry?! Do you have her?! Where is she..she's not in the crib anymore!!" Yes, every parents worst nightmare is to awake in the middle of the night, turn over to look at the monitor to find there child is no longer counting sheep in their bed where you left them. TALK ABOUT A FREAK OUT!! Before I go too far, don't worry, Curry had just wiggled her way over to the far-end of the crib, just slightly out of the camera's sight. So, when I glanced at the monitor it was a vacant bed. Talk about a heart attack! I about died! But, all was well when I ran to the nursery room and Curry was right where I left her...just a lot closer to the rails.
Curry also has officially been rolling over from back to stomach, so every thirty minutes when I awoke to look at the screen, she was snoozing away peacefully...on her stomach. She LOVES sleeping on her stomach, but each time I would go in there and carefully turn her over as not to wake her. Check out the video I made of her completing this amazing fete! Super cute, just ignore my hick twang (SO embarrassing!)
Well, we're off to night two of "Operation Big Girl Bed", let's see if we get a little more shut eye tonight. Hopefully, no more fake kidnappers to come, ha!
