Shame on me for neglecting my blog, but what a perfect time to pick right back up because little miss Curry hit a HUGE milestone this morning (one for the baby book)...she laughed out loud! For the past few weeks, she has been smiling and cooing so loud one might try to attribute this to a laugh, however I was not convinced...and obviously I was correct in my assumption since this morning she let out the biggest giggle you have ever heard. It literally brought a tear to my eye it was so adorable! We were sitting on the bed in our usual morning routine playing together before I finished getting ready for work. I had her propped up on a pillow in front of me and was tickling her stomach while making "toot" noises (if you will) when all of a sudden she went from a loud coo to an absolute laugh out loud. AKA: LOL! It was ADORABLE! I am going to try and catch this on video here in the near future so you too can cry along with this mushy Mother that I have become (OK that's a lie, I've always been mushy...but now it is tenfold when I see this little human I have created hit such milestones in her life).
Since all of you know how fast babies grow, you obviously know this is not the only milestone Curry has achieved in a month. So, I have compiled a list of other accomplishments that are just as noteworthy as the LOL...
Mini-Milestones while I've been MIA:
1. Curry has found her hands and loves to grasp on to everything with such a grip I don't even think an ex-marine could loosen it.
2. She also loves to lay on her play mat and stare at the toys dangling above her. She especially loves her little Baby Einstein duck that plays individual instruments since she's learned she can press it oh so lightly and it will sing to her. So cute!
3. Along with your hands come feet, I guess, because Curry also never wants to sit down. When I am sitting, she always wants to be standing. Her legs are soooo strong. In fact, while I'm typing this blog she has somehow kicked herself about a foot off of her play mat (I know..way to really watch your daughter...but don't worry, she's readjusted now and back in awe of her rattling giraffe.)
4. Curry is SO close to rolling over. She flails her head back and kicks her feet to the side and right before she gets to the tipping point she flips back to her regular stance on her back. But I can assure you of this, it will not even be a week longer until she's on her stomach in no time!
5. And last, but certainly not least, Curry without a doubt sleeps a solid 7 hours every night when I put her down to bed in her bassinet beside me. Although we will be attempting the move in to the nursery room soon...BUT that's another time, another blog.
I also thought I would attach some of the most recent pictures of Curr-Bear since I have been on a bit of a blog hiatus. Enjoy!
